Here’s a little about each member of our team!!! If you’d like to know more, come meet us, and we’ll make sure that you feel right at home!
Sarah has been riding horses for most of her life, and it has slowly taken over her entire life. She enjoys barrel racing, trail riding, cowboy challenges, and well anything that has to do with four hooves hitting the ground! She participates in many barrel racing events, as well as trails on a regular basis, and looks forward to seeing all the smiling faces
Jack and Kathy Lafoon are Sarah’s parents and her biggest fans! They are the brains of the operation here, and keep everything flowing smoothly! They also attend and participate in barrel race events as well as hitting the trails! Mom does all the cookin though! (Side note: The chicken salad….thats Sarah’s! Hands off! LOL!)
Shane Farmer is the muscle of the group! Hes the one that makes all the ideas and thoughts come to reality while keep Sarah’s crazy self in check! That’s a full time in itself! Shane enjoys riding horses just as much as he does riding his Harley! Hes also the landscaper…and the carpenter, the welder, and the plumper and electrician….list goes on! Thanks
The Four leggeds
Barbie is Sarah’s heart horse, she is almost 20 years old and still in the arena turnin’ and burin’…just a little slower no days! Barbie is the horse that the ranch uses for most beginner lessons, as she is very sweet, and takes time to learn her rider, and knows what he/she is ready for. Mind you, her favorite hobby is….well eating!
Cowboy is the blue heeler that never misses a beat! He is the center of all attention, and likes to pretend hes a cattle dog, rounding up the horses, but in most cases…makes them go the opposite direction! But he tries! Hes a sweet heart that has plenty of kisses to give away!
Cupcake is our little donkey that watches over our herd! She likes scratches everywhere once she gets to know you, but that takes some time! Shes very shy! But shes always quick to let the herd know that its time to eat….or if we’re 4 minutes late on it ourselves, heaven forbid!
Jager is the quirkiest dog you’ll ever meet with a heart full of gold! Shy at first, but will easily come around once you scratch him behind the ears. He loves to dance around, and well his absolute favorites are eating and sleeping! He always sleeps with his little tongue hanging out…love it!
Mirror Mirror on the wall, who the prettiest of them all? Princess! She is another one of Sarah’s barrel racing horses! She likes the longer patterns and slow walks! She has the longest mane and tail and it is very THICK!! She knows shes a diva!
Diesel is the jockey of them all! Loves to play and have fun, and has the sweetest eyes you’ll ever see! Sometimes our feet dont keep up with our brain, so we can be a bit of a clutz (hence the nickname Rock), but at least it provides good entertainment! He loves to be loved on and learn new things! His favorite toy…a stick!!! Such a loverboy!
